  ABC Childcare Center
  Providing a Christian atmosphere where children will experience Christ's love and
  will be encouraged to explore God's world.  The learning program is built on
  monthly spiritual themes.  Doris Berdanier, director.

  Angel Food Ministries 
  With a heart to help others and a generous spirit, Joe and Linda Wingo founded

  Angel Food Ministries in 1994 to provide food for friends and neighbors who were

  struggling financially. Today the Angel Food program now is helping provide food
  relief to more than 500,000 families each month.

  Christian Education
  Supporting life long learning and discipline.  Christian education is at the very heart of the church. In the educational process the Spirit of God
  encounters people of all ages so that they are nurtured in faith, grow in knowledge and experience, and are inspired and empowered to live as
  disciples of Jesus Christ. This call to discipleship compels us to share our faith and serve others in the home, the community, and in God’s
  world.

  Concert Series
  It is our deepest feeling that we need to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and what better way to do this than through the music of these

  talented artists.  We have been truly blessed to be able to present these concerts each year to the town (and surrounding areas) of Shelby. 
  We strive to bring to you the most popular and talented Christian artists we can with the resources we have been given. 

  Fellowship
  Coming together as a church to enjoy fellowship through dinners, concerts, festivals, and other special events.

  Multimedia
  Our technicians are trained to use our audio and video projection systems; and also assist with audio-visual projects that we create at the
  church.  Current opportunities include:  running our computer projection system for Worship, running the sound system for Worship, and
  recording our Worship services. 

  Music
  One of the church's most important ministries is the music ministry; a major part of our worship experience.  Worship is enhanced through the

  use of praise bands, choirs, bells choirs, pipe organ, piano, and other types of special music. 

  Outreach
  Reaching out to a lost and unsaved world.  Information on the First Lutheran Food Pantry and Angel Food Ministries.
 

  Visitation
  I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.  By this everyone will  
  know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:34-45.    Please email Gaye Shira, or call the church office if you are
  interested in becoming involved with Visitation Team.

  WELCA
  Welca is the women's organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.  This network of nearly 500,000 women makes a difference
  in the world because God has made a difference in their lives.
