MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a Christian atmosphere where children will experience
Christ's love and will be
encouraged to explore God's world.
The learning program is built
on monthly spiritual themes.
The ABC Center is open from 5:00am to 6:00pm.
The Center is closed only for Christmas,
Thanksgiving, New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
that fall on week days.
These are paid work days for patrons and staff. The Center is closed
when severe weather closes
schools and businesses.
The ABC Childcare Center serves:
Infants: 3 wks. - 18 mos.
Pre-Toddlers:
15 mos. - 30 mos.
Toddlers: 30 mos. - 3 yrs.
Preschool:
3 yrs. - 4 yrs.
School Age/Latch Key: Pre-K
- 4-5 yrs.
Before (6:00-8:30am) and
after (3:30-6:00pm) school
School Age Kindergarten (11:30am - 6:00pm)
Shelby
City School provides transportation for children in their AM
Kindergarten to this site for lunch
and afternoon day care.
PRESCHOOL & PRE-K:
These two programs
held in the morning from 8:30am till 11:30am. Children may attend 3
days, or
all week in the mornings. Breakfast is served from 7:30am - 8:30am.
Lunch (a hot meal prepared in
our kitchen) is served at 11:30am. A PM snack will be served.
STAFF:
The staff is selected for its compassionate, caring manner with
children. We have an open door
policy. Parents and friends are welcome to visit at anytime. A 15
- 20 minute chapel is held daily.
The children are taught bible stories, songs, and prayers. The Infant
room, is presently a group of ten
who receive weekly care. Call if you need infant care or call to get on
our waiting list.
CHILDCARE RATES:
Registration Fee: $36 per year per child.
(Job and Family Services covers registration fee
for families enrolled).
Infants: $135 per week
Pre-Toddlers: $120 per week, $85 for 3 days
Toddlers: $120 per week, $85 for 3 days
Preschool / Pre-K: $110 per week, $75 for 3 days
(Day Care & Preschool/Pre-K included)
Preschool / Pre-K: $65 per week (includes lunch)
(8:30-11:30am ONLY)
School Age - Kindergarten: $11 per day (w/ lunch)
School Age - Kindergarten / Latch Key: $80 per week
(w/ lunch - 11:30am-6:00pm)
School Age - Latch Key: $60 per week
(Everyday before and after school)
Latch Key Option:
$7 per day for morning or afternoon, $14 per day for
both
Vacation / Snow Days:
$25 per day, $15 under 5 hrs
School Age Summer Program: $100 per week, $25 per day
