Hello all! One of the things that makes First Lutheran such a great congregation is the diversity of our worship experiences.

For those looking for a contemporary experience you can join us on Saturday evening for a wonderful upbeat service with our praise band. This service is relaxed and has a "come as you are" spirit to it.

For those who are looking for a more traditional service you can join us for the 8:30 am service on Sundays for traditional music and liturgy.

For those who like a bit of everything please come to our 11:00am blended service where you will hear traditional style liturgy side by side with praise style music.

As always our outstanding music program led by Paul Martin will be providing special music at the services, from bell choirs to soloists.

By the time you are reading this, depending on how fast you get to your mail, Groundhogs Day may either be coming or gone. Punxsutawney Phil may be the best known rodent in the world other than Mickey Mouse. Did he/will he see his shadow? My money this year is on him not seeing his shadow because I think this winter doesn’t have a whole lot of oomph… but then I have been wrong before…a lot. I am amazed that a giant squirrel (they are in the same family) gets to predict the weather; of course I am also amazed that anyone can predict the weather.
